Yet again, a lobby bar has distinguished itself with fine service, superb cocktails and ice-cold beers. While these things may not be hard to get elsewhere - well, anywhere really - the Jabiru Bar quietly offers all these elements in a relaxing setting. Billing itself as the ??Cocktail Capital of Darwin' (a capital within a capital?), the bar usually fills with travellers or those with a nose (mouth?) for a good cocktail. Set in an indoor rainforest, the bar itself is an odd yet welcome mix of stylish furniture and lush greenery. Feel like plonking yourself into an earthen-coloured chair while marvelling at some cascading vines? Then you'll want to stop by Jabiru sometime soon. A cold Crown Lager or Henieken will blow the heat away, quick fast.

If you're in need of a bite to eat, small items can be order from the a la carte menu, or you can move into the Zest Restaurant for a premium dining experience at a decent cost. Mind you, if you're not keen on the whole ?Territory tourist' thing, you might get a more relaxed meal elsewhere.
