Another casino, another bar ?? but this is not just any old bar. And there are more reasons than booze to make this your post-win (or loose) destination. Capturing the atmosphere and ease of your local hotel, the Cockatoo bar is almost a world away from its surrounds ?? almost. Although it tries hard to shake off the whole ??casino' vibe, one can't be get the occasional whiff of desperation. But there's nothing like a robust glass of red to numb those senses. Or a superbly mixed cocktail to help you get your dancing pants on.

Easily accessed from the gaming floor (it's pretty much bang in the centre of the entire floor), this old-style, brass and wood bedecked bar makes a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the gambling action. Prop yourself up at the polished oak bar and thrill as the staff pour yet another glass of VB, Becks or James Squire. There are plenty of other brews on offer, but the beer taps pour it fresh, so why bother with anything bottled or boutique.

Cocktails are also a popular drink, making celebrations as easy as ?just add booze' affairs. A standard list is complimented by more contemporary house concoctions. Alternatively, the staff seem more than happy to unleash their inner Tom Cruise and mix you up a new treat, based on whatever spirits take your fancy.
